The Resort
Experience
The resort experience is defined by the natural beauty inherent in
the La Sirena property as well as the multitude of activities that
extend to regional attractions beyond the resort grounds. Within the
property, a diverse ecosystem is celebrated through linking the natural
elements of the site to each guest’s experience.
The arrival experience begins by winding along the private entry road
to a palm court, providing an intimate entrance to the focal point
of the resort – the Great House. The Great House acts as the
primary gathering place and signature architectural element of the
resort; offering a setting for cultural experiences through intimate
gardens and a beachside terrace and events lawn.
Amenities will include a variety of ecological excursions that allow
guests to experience the natural beauty of area, enjoy the world renowned
diving of the San Blas Islands, and educational opportunities featured
by the resort’s nature center and cooking classes. In addition
to the ecological amenities, the resort will have a nine-hole short
golf course, water sports activities, and salt water swimming pools
set within the coral stone shelves.
The resort’s destination spa will focus on marine-based treatments,
such as coral pumice rubs and salt baths. Herbal treatments derived
from coconut oil and bananas will further enhance the connection to
the site’s naturally occurring elements.
The Marina Club, positioned in the property’s natural east cove
provides a protected harbor and launching point for ocean excursions
and diving trips to the San Blas Islands, as well as river trips up
the Rio Cuango. |
